National Home Staging Trainer To Speak in San Antonio
At IRIS Conference April 8-10, 2006
Evergreen, CO. Sandy Dixon, a certified real estate
staging and interior redesign trainer, will speak to
the national conference of the Interior Redesign Industry
Specialists (IRIS) in San Antonio, Texas on April 8-10,
2006 at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel. Dixon, owner of
Evergreen, Colorado-based Interior Arrangements, Inc.,
one of the country’s leading redesign and real
estate staging training companies, will give an insider’s
glimpse into the world of real estate and how to build
strong and lasting relationships with these master
networkers.
“Home staging, also called real estate staging,
is one of the hottest careers for 2006 according to
Entrepreneur Magazine,” says Dixon. “As
an active stager and staging instructor, my choice
clients are Realtors. Learning their terminology, office
structure, how they spend their day and how to get
face time with top agents can have a powerful impact
on a stager’s bottom line. As a former real estate
agent myself, I think it is crucial that stagers understand
the challenges that agents face every day and how extremely
competitive the business is - offering staging as a
value added service is a powerful way that real estate
agents can differentiate themselves from the competition.”
According to the Wall Street Journal’s RealEstateJournal.com,
staging can increase the selling price of a home from
2 to 10 percent. “Any house, regardless of price
or location, will show better when staged. And even
if predictions of a cooling real estate market come
true, people still need to buy and sell homes. Real
estate staging can preserve a seller’s equity.
They’ll need stagers even more than before,” Dixon
continues. Dixon’s Interior Arrangements, Inc.
offers 3 and 5-day redesign and staging certification
workshops for those interested in the field of interior
redesign and/or real estate staging.
Dixon is a member and sanctioned instructor for the
Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (IRIS), an international
organization of redesigners. Her course “Professional
Interior Redesign & Real Estate Staging” qualifies
individuals for IRIS membership. She also belongs to
the National Association of Professional Organizers
(NAPO), which has 3,200 members nationwide and is a
professional member of the National Speakers Association
(NSA).
